About Danièle Massie, RP
I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP), Certified Gestalt Therapist (Cert. GIT, Gestalt Institute of Toronto), as well as a Level II Emotional Freedom Techniques™ / EFT Practitioner (EFT Cert. II, AAMET). In addition to seeing adults for individual sessions, I offer workshops and group therapy to men and women who are interested in a creative, experiential and holistic approach to therapy. I specialize in trauma recovery as well as in working with HSPs. I am a Highly Sensitive Person. My mind/body approach, Moving To Change Psychotherapy, also integrates my 25 years of mindfulness and contemplative practices with movement and body awareness work. This way of working facilitates the experiencing of your whole self––helping you get a better sense of the connections between your body experience, your feelings, your beliefs, and your ways of relating. I am dedicated to helping those I work with live fuller and more meaningful lives. I am a member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), as well as a clinical member of The Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT). I have been in private practice in Toronto since 2005.

My approach also includes mindfulness meditation, art therapy, dreamwork, psychodrama, the practice of Authentic Movement and Sensory Awareness work. My interest in everyday movement as living art also informs my work as a psychotherapist.
