Online Support Groups for The Highly Sensitive Person.

HSPs who have not been properly understood, supported or validated growing up, have lived for so long with the sense that something is wrong with them even though they couldn't quite pinpoint what it was. To finally be able to reframe the past through the lens of the normal, innate trait of Sensory Processing Sensitivity can be life-changing in that it can bring relief, create an opening into self-acceptance, and give rise to a new-found sense of connection and belonging.

With this in mind, I invite you to consider my small online group offerings to gently tend to the repair process and to connect with fellow HSPs who are deepening their understanding of this normal, innate, genetic trait––its challenges and its gifts. My approach is informed by Dr. Elaine Aron's well-established body of research and ever-unfolding work via her Foundation for the Study of Highly Sensitive Persons.

The groups are experiential in nature, meaning they are designed as safe creative environments in which to explore and reflect upon your experience; gain greater awareness of yourself in relation to others; be heard, seen, and receive feedback; and develop more self-compassion, resiliency, agency, as well as self-confidence.

Participants sometimes choose to pair these groups with individual sessions for additional support.

THE DESIRE FOR MEANINGFUL WORK

« The Sensitive Way is about embracing our sensitivity rather than hiding it. It's about championing our gifts instead of being ashamed of the trait that gives us those gifts. » —Jenn Granneman and Andre Sólo, authors of Sensitive

These online group therapy workshops will give you an opportunity to connect with other HSPs, to better understand the gifts and challenges that come with sensory processing sensitivity, gain more awareness, tools, skills and strategies for learning to thrive with this normal, innate trait in mind.
